Everlube 974 is a thermally cured, graphite-based solid film lubricant that utilizes a polyamide-imide binder system. This coating is specifically designed to provide long-term lubrication on pistons for diesel and gasoline engines and other applications requiring reduced wear resistance for piston and cylinder wall break-in and continuous operations. Everlube 974 provides very good thermal stability, excellent chemical and corrosion properties, and provides good abrasion resistance.
